Illustration for current project about Subcultures and youth culture done in Illustrator and photoshop, I'm doing a magazine but i might include a set of posters like this for each subculture. Bit different from my usual style, I'm trying to get a bit more graphic with my illustration for this project.

The Decemberists

Decided to practice using a bit of adobe illustrator as i never touch it, see if i can get a bit more graphic as i cant be arsed to draw today. Made this poster thing as a tribute to my favourite song 'The Mariners revenge song'. I swear iv seen this before, looks really familiar, iv probably ripped someone off without realising. Its just a practice anyway so shut it.

Commission

10 Awkward moments

This is a mock up of one of the ten poster designs i will be doing for my current project about awkward situations. Final piece will be ten posters folded like this, with the main design on one side and a number with a description of the situation on the other side. All ten posters will then be packaged in some way. I havent decided yet.

Im so political

This is my final animation for my last project i did for uni. We were given 3 starting points of stories that were recently in the news. I chose to focus on the student protests as a starting point. Politics aint my strong point and my ideas kept changing but i ended up getting a friend to read some stuff written by Charlie Brooker and i animated it. Im not entirely happy with it due to the fact i rushed it. Too many silences and stuff. Enjoy.

MORRISSEY TEE

As i love Morrissey i decided to design a tshirt for myself which ill try screenprint on a plain white tshirt next week. If it works well, in may ill have some money so i can get a bunch of plain tshirts that i can start printing onto and selling. I have set up an etsy account ready.

This is just and idea of what it will hopefully look like.

DON'T

Another idea for this project i've had is loooking at what makes some people uncomfortable. Some people dont like being watched while they eat, so i did this.

Private Property

As im not really sure what im doing at the moment so im just doing a bunch of responses to the word 'personal territory'. A floating house to represent private property kinda, maybe. yes it does. Probably should have used a better contrast of text and background. oh well.

Personal Space

New uni project has just begun, got given 6 starting points and i think iv decided to go for personal territories. I want make of book of images including photos and illustrations. i dunno i'll change my mind tomorrow.

Lazy

This drawing wasn't going to be anything to do with uni work but as i am going to be doing an animation about student stereotypes for my current project i thought i might as well make it useful by doing a really quick animationy thing in after effects just as a bit of prep work. Its not great just a quick practice thing.

Screen Printays

These are my final screen prints i did for a Printmaking elective. Really enjoyed making these definately going to print some tshirts in the near future.

Too big for my scanner so can only put up rubbishy photos.
